The 500-millionth Expresso


Almost 500 million Expresso tournaments played on Winamax!

In order to celebrate this event, we will be giving out 301 “Gold Bars”, which will be handed out on the Expresso tables, starting from the 497,000,000th and ending on the 500,000,000th Expresso.


 


How does it work?

Gold Bars function as Expresso “bling-bling”, multiplying your winnings by up to x3,000. The more Expresso tournaments you play between two Gold Bar Expresso tournaments, the more your multiplier will be increased.

All players who land on a Gold Bar table will be rewarded.

Your aim will be to boost your multiplier and then launch an Expresso at the right time to land on a Gold Bar table!

A counter shows the progress of the promotion and the number of Expresso tournaments left before entering the drawing phase of the Gold Bar Expresso. This phase is indicated by the "Imminent Gold Bar" message.

The Gold Bar Expresso will be drawn during this "Imminent Gold Bar" phase.

This phase lasts for 1,001 Expresso and lands every 10,000th Expresso between the 497,000,000th and 500,000,000th Expresso.

Example: A "10k Gold Bar" will be drawn between the 497,019,500th and 497,020,500th Expresso.

  • 270 "10k Gold Bars" on Expresso tournaments n° 497,010,000, then 497,020,000, then 497,030,000, and so on until 499,990,000
  • 27 "100k Gold Bars" on Expresso tournaments n° 497,100,000, then 497,100,000, then 497,200,000, then 497,300,000, and so on until 499,900,000
  • 3 “Million Gold Bars” on Expresso tournaments n° 497,000,000, 498,000,000 and 499,000,000
  • 1 "500 million Gold Bar" on Expresso tournament n° 500,000,000

These coefficients only apply to the Expresso winner.

Expresso are counted per buy-in. If you play €2 Espresso, they will not count towards your multiplier if you land on a Gold Bar when starting a €10 Expresso.

The multiplier you have for every buy-in is displayed in the Expresso lobby.

2nd and 3rd place winnings:

The Gold Bar will also reward those unfortunate enough to come in 2nd and 3rd place.

  • 10k Gold Bar: 2nd & 3rd place prize = (1st place prize x multiplier) /3
  • 100k Gold Bar: 2nd & 3rd place prize = (1st place prize x multiplier) /5
  • Million Gold Bar: 2nd & 3rd place prize = (1st place prize x multiplier) /10
  • 500 million Gold Bar: 2nd & 3rd place prize = (1st place prize x multiplier) /10

You will also win the prize intended for 2nd or 3rd place with the bigger jackpots (x50 or more).

Example:
You have played 15 Expresso tournaments at €10 each since your last Gold Bar. You then land on a 100K Gold Bar table on a €10 Expresso, which gives you a x 100 multiplier. The prize comes to €50.

Should you win the Expresso, your prize will be: €50 x 100 = €5,000.

If you come in 2nd or 3rd, you'll come away with: $$\frac{€50\: x\: 100}{5} = €1,000$$


Important information

  • Every Expresso launched since the last Gold Bar will be counted, even if they haven't finished yet.
  • When you land on a Gold Bar table, this will be counted as an Expresso for the calculation of your winnings. Therefore, you will have a 10x multiplier for the 10k Gold Bar, a x30 multiplier for the 100k Gold Bar, a x100 multiplier for the million Gold Bar and x300 for the 500 million Gold Bar.
  • A player's maximum winnings on a Gold Bar are limited to €1,000,000 (if a player's winnings exceed this amount then they will be reduced to €1,000,000).
  • For the first Gold Bar (just after Expresso n° 497,000,000), all Expresso tournaments upwards of the 396,990,000th Expresso will be counted for your multiplier.
  • The draw phases of the Gold Bar Expresso begin 500 Expresso before and end 500 Expresso after the multiples of 10,000 between the 497,000,000th and 500,000,000th Expresso, i.e. between the XXX XX9,500th and XXX XX0,500th Expresso.
  • Any form of association of players in order to increase the chances of finding a Gold Bar Expresso is strictly forbidden.
