The Three-Billionth Cash Game Hand

Three billion. That's a figure you don't usually come across every day. And when you hear it, it's usually associated with depressing things like public debt or the kilos of plastic floating in the oceans. But that was before. Before the three billionth hand of real money cash games was played on Winamax!

To celebrate the event properly, we're adding a nice counter that will run continuously from the 2,990 millionth hand and make you win big every 100,000 hands. Don't try to count on your fingers: a total of 101 Jackpot Hands will fall on our tables in a few weeks! The best part? Every player participating in the hand will get a share of the pie, depending on the Rake generated on the table. In other words: the longer you play, the bigger the payday! A great way to end the summer in style.

Hands will be counted on the Winamax application in order to help you see the next jackpot coming.

The three types of Jackpot hand

  • 100,000 Jackpot hand every 100,000 hands (2,990,110,000 / 2,990,200,000 / 2,990,300,000)
  • Million Jackpot hand every million hands (2,990,000,000 / 2,991,000,000 / 2,992,000,000)
  • The Billionth Hand

  • How your Jackpot is calculated

    • For each 100,000 Jackpot hand
      • Prize for winning hand = €300×√R
      • Other players’ prize = €150×√R
    • On every Jackpot Million hand
      • Prize for winning hand = €1,200×√R
      • Other players’ prize = €400×√R
    • The Billionth Hand
      • Prize for winning hand = €15,000×√R
      • Other players’ prize = €3,000×√R

    R = Rake

Example

Hand #2,993,000,000 (Million Jackpot) is played at NL50 table “Athens 04” with three players at the table.

  • Player 1 wins the hand. He has made €4 in rake on this table since the beginning of the game session. He wins a jackpot of: €1,200×√4 = €2,400
  • Player 2 has made €16 in rake on this table since the beginning of the game session. He wins a jackpot of: €400×√16 = €1600
  • Player 3 has made €1 in rake on this table since the start of the game session. He wins a jackpot of: €400×√1 = €400

WARNING: only players who are dealt cards on the exact Jackpot hand will be rewarded. Any player sitting-out at the beginning of the hand (a player in the process of rebuying for example) will not receive a jackpot.

If you leave the table and then return, taking a new seat at the table (even just a few minutes later), a new session begins. The Miles earned during the previous session will not be taken into account.
