What's a token?
An opponent's token lets you see the range of possible winnings you can get for eliminating them.

Each player starts with a level 1 token.

A player's token evolves according to the bounties they have won by knocking out other players.

The higher the level of an opponent's token, the bigger the potential winnings.
Just knocked out a player?
An instant draw will be made to determine the bounty you get.
The exact amount of the bounty depends on the token… and your luck!
What is the value of the tokens?
There are 14 different tokens, including 4 legendary tokens with huge bounties!

The average value of each token is set between the lowest token level shown and the lowest value of the next token level. For example, in a €10 tournament, a level 4 token will have an average value of between €10 and €15.

You will start the tournament with a level 1 token. Its average value will be equal to half of the tournament buy-in.

Just like in normal progressive KO's, every time you knock out a player, 50% of the bonus won will be credited to your account and the remaining 50% will be added to the average value of your token.
Your token will level up according to the bounties you win throughout the tournament.
Token values
Example (€10 buy-in)
You register for a €10 SPACE KO tournament.
You start with a level 1 token. The average value of your starting token is 50% of the buy-in, a.k.a. €5.

First hand: Aces against Kings, lucky you!
You knock out your opponent and take their starting token. -
You can win 6 different prizes:
€2, €5, €10, €15, €50 and €500 (see the multiplier and odds grid). -
You get lucky and win €15 in the draw. €7.5 is instantly credited to your Winamax account, and the remaining €7.5 is added to your token.
The average value of the token is now €12.5, a.k.a. a level 4 token.

Token probabilities and multipliers
Buy-in distribution
In Space KO tournaments, the amount of each buy-in is distributed as follows:
- 40% goes to the classic MTT prizepool
- 50% is used towards the random bounty prizepool
- 10% rake
Eliminations and bounties

When you knock out a player, half the winnings determined by the draw are added to your token value. The other half of the winnings are added to your own bounty. The more bounties you win, the higher the value of your token, and the more other players will be gunning to knock you out!

The winner of a Space KO tournament wins their own random bounty, determined by a final draw based on the level of their token.

There's no limit to the number of bonuses you can win in a Space KO tournament.

If you knock out several players in a single hand, you'll receive as many random bonuses as players eliminated.

If a player is eliminated by several players in the same hand (a situation where both "executioners" show the same hand at showdown), a single random bonus is given out. Its amount is divided equally between all the players responsible for the elimination.
Prizepool and estimated prizepool

The estimated prizepool displayed on the tournament page and in the MTT tournament lobby corresponds, as for other MTT tournaments, to: number of registrations x (buy-in minus rake).

If a tournament doesn't attract enough players to reach the estimated prizepool, there will be an overlay situation. Just like in a progressive KO tournament, the overlay will be redistributed on the fixed section of the prizepool (classic payout scale).

Because of the way a Space KO tournament works, the final prizepool will only be known at the end of the tournament, once the last KO draw has been made. By its very nature, therefore, the final prize will always differ from the estimated prize. (The same logic applies to Expresso tournaments. Example: in a €10 Expresso, the cumulative entries of the three players represent a sum of €30, but the total winnings distributed to the winner(s) always vary between €20 and €1,000,000).
