River

Should two players still be fighting for the pot after the turn, a fifth and final community card is dealt. This card is called the River. By the time the river has been reached, every player remaining in pot is looking at five community cards that he will combine with his two private, or hole cards. In other words, each player will have to make the best combination of five cards, out of seven cards in total.
Once the River is on the table, a final round of betting takes place.
