Get ready for Marrakech from 20th to 25th May 2025... and discover the first details on the 9th edition of our 6-max fiesta.

We know that now is more the time to order your advent calendar, think about what to give your mother-in-law or come up with a plan for New Year's than to stock up on sun cream and think about your summer bodysuit. But don't blame us for putting summer on your mind just as winter is showing the tip of its snowflake: we have a good reason, and it's called SISMIX , which will be back from 20th to 25th May 2025 at the Es Saadi Resort in Marrakech!

2,736: that's how many people entered the Main Event in 2024, on what was the tenth anniversary of the festival. It was a Dantesque field that shattered the record for the biggest 6-max tournament on the planet... but that didn't come without a few cold sweats from the organisers. We were taken by surprise," admitted Matthieu Duran, head of our live events department. 44% more visitors than in 2023, that was huge."

Even though the bulk of our teams are busy with the Winamax Poker Tour, which has been in full swing, that doesn't mean we're not starting to think about what's going to happen in six months' time. So to take SISMIX to the next level, Matthieu and his teams have set their sights even higher for 2025. "The aim is twofold: to stem the flow of entries and re-entries on the Main, while offering more space to Side Events.

But that's not all. "We're working on a new payment method to speed up the registration process and we're doubling the number of buy-in desks," enough to continue improving a formula that no longer needed to seduce. "Theatro, pool parties, beer pong: you'll find everything you love!" concludes Matthieu, as convinced as he is confident.

Satellites? A poker and/or fiesta programme? Don't get too excited, we're not there yet ('tis the season to be jolly). There's nothing wrong with getting a bit of a head start, though. So go ahead, send that email, your boss will survive one week without you.
